GTNT's talent shines through as NT Training Award Finalists are announced.
GTNT's Trainee Kaitlin Chin and Apprentice Nathan Powell have been named a 2018 NT Training Award Finalist!
Kaitlin completed her Certificate III in Business while working with the Employment Services team at GTNT and received a judges commendation for her GTNT Award entry earlier this year.
Nathan recently completed his Certificate III in Electro-technology while hosted to Power and Water Corporation in Darwin. Earlier this year, Nathan won the Outstanding Apprentice - Stage 3 category at our Awards night.
In addition to Kaitlin and Nathan being named finalists, GTNT's Power Careers Program was also named as a finalist in the 'Industry Collaboration' category.
The NT Training Awards are the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation annual premier event recognising training excellence and achievements by Northern Territory:
- businesses
- training organisations
- apprentices
- trainees
- trainers
- students.
The awards are an official recognition of excellence and achievements in gaining the highest standards of knowledge and skills, in contributing to high standards of training, and for personal achievement in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. There are individual and organisational awards, 13 in total.
