GTNT Group's RTO, the Institute of Skills and Training Australia (ISTA), welcomed three students from Denpasar as they embark on an exciting journey to Darwin as part of the Bali Hospitality Training Program.

Over the weekend, Pita, Putri, and Agus had the privilege of exploring the vibrant city of Darwin with the GTNT Group team. The purpose was to acquaint them with the multicultural ambiance that characterizes the city and showcase the plethora of opportunities within their reach. Their itinerary included a delightful experience of the mesmerizing sounds of a didgeridoo at the Parap Markets, followed by a breathtaking sunset at Mindil Beach on Sunday.

This ground-breaking program marks the first tangible employment outcome since the signing of the Sister City Agreement. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of partnerships, nurturing talent, and propelling economic growth in both cities.

In addition to this achievement, ISTA recently participated in the City of Darwin - International Trade Show, where their international students gained valuable insights into Darwin's sister city relationships and the significance of collaborative efforts in developing programs like the Bali Hospitality Training Program.

The program itself offers three units of competency and workplace-based industry training, coupled with ongoing support in securing hospitality-related jobs throughout the students' time in Darwin. Scholarships are also made available to deserving participants, thanks to the generous support from the Northern Territory Government.

GTNT Group extends sincere gratitude to everyone involved in Darwin and Denpasar who have lent their support to ISTA and made this program a reality. The Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2022 between ISTA and Kopitu DPD Denpasar, LPK Bali Sanitya Sejahtera, and LPK Lumbung Deso has fostered strong relationships that have proven instrumental to the success of this program. Special recognition is given to Ni Nyoman Junianti from LPK Bali Sanitya Sejahtera and the Chairman of Kopitu DPD Denpasar for their unwavering dedication.

For Darwin-based hospitality or tourism businesses in search of talented individuals to join their teams, reaching out to the ISTA team at 08 89 800 600 is highly recommended. Embrace the opportunity to connect with the graduates of the Bali Hospitality Training Program and discover the promising talent that awaits.
