Host Businesses of the Month - Bridge Toyota

GTNT has been proudly partnering with Bridge Toyota for over Fifteen Years working alongside them to provide training and 
employment to over a 100 young Territorians. 

With bases in both Stuart Park and Palmerston, Bridge Toyota provide apprenticeships in light automotive (Certificate III Light Automotive Vehicle Technology) and also Business traineeships (Certificate III in Business and Certificate Iv in Business) for the their front of house staff.  Bridge Toyota utilise Toyota Training as the Registered Training Organisation for their Automotive qualification, and Dovaston Training & Assessment Centre for their Business qualifications. 

Neil Playford the NT Operations Manager is a firm believer in creating apprenticeship pathways and the current team at Bridge Toyota is made of a number GTNT success stories.

One such success story is Daniel Clee. Daniel started as school based apprentice with Bridge Toyota on 14th of March 2011 studying his Cert III Light Automotive Vehicle Technology whilst enrolled in year at Casuarina Senior College. Upon completion of his trade certificate in 2016 Daniel was offered the opportunity to more into a Trainee Service Advisor Role. It was in this role that Daniel truly flourished and today his is the Specialist Lexus Service Adviser.

Other success stories include a number of apprentices being awarded Outstanding Apprentices—Stage 1, 2 and 3 at GTNT’s annual Awards Nights.
