From 7 – 21 October, GTNT and Australian Skills Institute (ASI) hosted four ASI Ambassadors who are executive faculty members with our foundation partners in the Philippines.
The Ambassador’s visit to Darwin aimed to support the growth of our business in the Philippines and promote the Northern Territory as a destination of choice for students intending to study in Australia.
GTNT arranged for the delegates to meet with some of our key business partners and RTOs in the Territory that are demonstrating best practice and offering qualifications under CRICOS to international students. These meetings and facilities tours gave the delegates exposure to the broad range of course offerings available in Darwin with aim for the potential of growth of international students through our delegates ambassadorship.

Success
The GTNT and Australian Skills Institute Ambassador visit to Darwin was a success. The Ambassadors were provided the opportunity to experience the unique Top End lifestyle through a variety of tours, business events and tourist activities. They also gained an in depth understanding of the Australian vocational education and training system, the Australian Skills Quality Authority and the rigour required to offer Australian qualifications and the evidence and record management that they need to maintain.
